The Environmental Health & Safety Training Program (EHSTP)) provides model occupational safety and health continuing education training for workers engaged in hazardous waste removal, containment, and chemical emergency response. The main goal of the program is to deliver environmental health and safety training and workshops to workers and communities at risk to exposure from hazardous materials.
Workers who successfully complete the training are issued certificates in a variety of environmental health and safety areas often required by local, state and federal agencies to conduct work in related fields.
