Dillard University’s Deep South Center for Environmental Justice Education and Training Institute (DU/DSCEJ) is offering free classes for certification in Hazardous Waste Worker Training that is required by local, state and federal agencies to conduct work in this field.  The classes will be offered FREE of charge and is funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).  The DSCEJ is striving to reach minority and small businesses, first responders, and union workers to provide the training necessary to meet federal safety standards. The DSCEJ will provide training for qualified individuals and organizations listed below:

• Minority and Small Businesses

• First Responders

• City Government

• Medical Workers

• Unions

• Other workers at- risk from exposure to hazardous materials.
