Rebecca Gernes received her Masters in Public Health and Social Work (MPH/MSW) from Washington University in St. Louis where she completed the TRI University Challenge for her culminating project. She is currently a fellow with the Association of Schools and Programs for Public Health (ASPPH), working at the US EPA research lab in Cincinnati, OH.
Please join the Dillard University Deep South Center for Environmental Justice and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency EPA) for the next Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program webinar on March 4, 2015. This webinar will demonstrate the strength of association between toxic point sources reported to TRI and asthma hospitalization outcomes at the ZIP code level, and will examine toxic air releases alongside socio-demographic and asthma indicators to identify disparities in exposure to air pollution and asthma outcomes.
